The rules for this
Endings are the one action the classical rules want on a waning Moon: from full to new, when things are shrinking back. The engine favours that, Saturn's day Saturday (structure, limits, conclusions), and the Moon applying to a benefic for an ending that stays amicable.
Against it: a waxing Moon (the thing tries to grow back), the void-of-course Moon (the ending does not stick), and the Moon applying to Mars by a hard aspect (the ending turns into a fight).
End it on a waning Moon, in writing, with the next step named. The dark of the Moon is the quietest day of all for it.

For a business
How owners use it
Closing a product line, ending a supplier agreement, cancelling the software you stopped using, letting a contractor go, winding up a partnership. A business accumulates things that should end; the week before each new Moon is the standing time to end them.
Rhythm for Business plans the quarter around these windows: the new moon as the start of a cycle, the full moon as its review, and the clear windows for the decisions that matter. Open Rhythm for Business.
