The 4th house · Home and family
The Moon in your 4th house
Home, land, family. Two or three days a month.
The fourth house is the base: home, family, land, the past, where you come from and where you go back to. In the old scheme it is the natural house of the Moon's own sign, Cancer, so the Moon is at home here.
The Moon in the fourth pulls inward. You want to be home, with your people, with the door shut. It is the stretch for the house itself, for family, for cooking, and for rest at the base. It is a poor stretch for anything that asks you to be public.
Do
Stay close to home. Fix one thing in the house, call your people.
Not today
Going public with anything.
For a business
How owners use these days
Work from home if you can. Fix the premises, do the private work, tidy the back office, have the family conversation about the business. Launches, announcements and first impressions wait for the 10th.

The meanings follow the classical lists: Vettius Valens, Anthologies (2nd century), and Firmicus Maternus, Mathesis (4th century), as summarised in Chris Brennan, Hellenistic Astrology (2017). Whole sign houses are the oldest house system: the rising sign is the 1st house and each following sign is the next house.
